Abilities
This pet has 3 abilities and unlocks them one per star: the first is live from the day you get it, the second needs 2★, the third 3★ (see fusion below).

- Banked Heat — Your launches bleed this much less PRESSURE — every point you pump goes further.
- Slow Burn — While your pressure is above 50%, launches bleed a further 25% less — a well-stoked furnace holds its heat. Every landing also pays +20% coins.
- Slag Refund — Melted balls leave slag worth this share of the coins they would have paid.

Fuse 3 copies at the same star into one at the next — guaranteed, at the Fusion forge. The XP invested in all three copies is pooled into the result.

Bring a 3★ copy to the Ball Grove to try for amped (purple) stars: each amped star adds +5% to that star's ability (1★ 1 in 10, 2★ 1 in 25, 3★ 1 in 50 on Hard; 1 in 30 / 1 in 75 / 1 in 150 on Regular).
A 3★ copy can become shiny by fusing an owned shiny Magma Slug into it for 10,000 — see Shiny pets.

How to get
- World 5 · Inferno pet crate — 15% (1 in 6.66) per pull at 600

- Every copy can be traded, free pulls included (free-pull copies salvage for full essence too, only without the bonus gem roll). A trade is a straight swap — shiny, stars, purple stars, evolution, nature and worn items go with the pet, its level resets to 1, and it can be traded again.
