Mines

Overview

MINES is the push-your-luck round hidden in the Arcade. Every real bump on the right-hand portal pod lights one notch of its ring; at 200 bumps the ring completes and a MINES board is dealt. 25 face-down tiles hide 3 mines. Reveal a safe tile and the multiplier grows; CASH OUT whenever you like; hit a mine and the round ends on the floor payout. Nothing is wagered, so the only thing you can lose is the multiplier you have built.

How to play

• The board opens with the words FIND BALLS · CASH OUT ANYTIME. Tap any tile to reveal it.
• Safe tile: the multiplier climbs to the next step of the table and the CASH OUT button shows the new payout (50 × multiplier, rounded).
• Mine: the round ends and you receive the 50 floor.
• CASH OUT: banks the current payout and closes the round. Cashing out with no picks pays the floor.
• Reveal all 22 safe tiles and the round auto-cashes at ×200 (10,000 ).
• The mine layout is dealt when the ring completes and is never shown — you learn it one tile at a time. An abandoned board resumes exactly where you left it; while a round is open the right ring pauses one bump short of full, so nothing is wasted.

Multiplier table

Every safe reveal moves you one row down. “Chance to get here” is the probability of that many safe picks in a row from a fresh board; “Next pick is safe” is the odds the next reveal from that row survives — 22 safe among 25 tiles before your first pick, one fewer of each with every row; the final row auto-cashes, so it has no next pick.

Head Start (Vinnie)

Vinnie the Hamster at 3★ has Head Start: MINES opens with this many safe tiles already revealed, and the payout starts at that multiplier. With him active every board opens with 5 safe tiles already revealed — a ×1.62 multiplier and 81 on the CASH OUT button before you touch anything, and only 17 safe tiles left to find among 20. Vinnie comes from the Ticket Trove's Vinnie's Gamble (10% per attempt).

Tips

• The multiplier grows more slowly than the risk: each extra reveal adds less than the chance of losing it all takes away, so cash out at whatever number you would be happy to bank — the round costs nothing either way.
• Big swings live at the bottom of the table: the last three picks jump ×25.7 → ×41.4 → ×77.4 → ×200, but the full clear is 1 in 2,300.
• Rings only charge on real pod bumps, so a session with AUTO on is the fastest way to earn boards.
